PetroAsian Energy and its Ksar Hadada Partners have started preparing the drill site for drilling operations this summer.
In order to prepare the location, logistical contractors have surveyed the site and have begun leveling and clearing terrain for the transport and mobilization of the rig site. After meeting the environmental criteria from the Tunisian government, the contractors will construct an access road between the nearest town and the two well sites. For this, the land is cleared and leveled using bulldozing equipment. Then, the road will be covered with gravel to stabilize the area from erosion and to allow access for the heavy drilling equipment. Furthermore a large pit will be constructed to contain water for drilling operations and for mud circulation use.
PetroAsian Energy is pleased that its Tunisian operations are running along smoothly and will be anticipating for results during the summer.
