PetroAsian Beijing Technical Conference

In mid December 2009, PetroAsian and BGP International hosted a technical conference regarding the Ksar Hadada permit in BGP's Beijing headquarters. Representatives from our partner companies, Petroceltic International and Independent Resources were also in attendance. Over the course of three hard working days, a comprehensive review was conducted on the permit, and merits of their analysis were both weighed and discussed.
BGP International also introduced several advanced proprietary techniques which help in the discovery and definition of hydrocarbon bearing reservoirs. One of these techniques is TFEM or Time-Frequency Electromagnetic Method. PetroAsian plans to employ these advanced techniques on the permit area to determine the optional 'sweet spot' for drilling later this year.
