Corporate Overview

PetroAsian Energy Holdings Limited (formerly "China Oil Resources Holdings Limited") was founded by the Poon brothers in March 1987, and subsequently listed in The Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 13 November 2002.

Initially a downstream petrochemicals company, we have now moved into our next phase of transformational growth with a major focus on China and Africa, with a portfolio of exploration and production assets. Key to achieving our growth ambitions is delivery of first oil in Tunisia in the fourth quarter of 2010 and developing the significant resource base we discovered in Qiqihar, China.

As a junior-sized oil company, we are well positioned in the Hong Kong markets to move forward and expand our scope of activities, with a major focus on resource projects internationally as well as Mainland China projects. We are actively seeking oil & gas permits in stable countries which have underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources.
